I was with my ex for a year. It was a long distance relationship. We finally met up last summer. We hit it off for the first few days until her friends and family made her turn on me. Long story short, she sent me an email telling me she doesn't think it could work between us because of the distance and that it doesn't mean she doesn't care.
It's been almost 6 months and she hasn't talked to me or messaged me. I haven't spoken to her either because she left me and my pride was shot after traveling to another country to see her and sacrificing so much just to see her.
Come Christmas and new year should I let go of my pride and wish her merry Christmas or happy new year although she hasn't talked to me in 6 months? Or should she?
Wouldn't that make me look desperate or like I'm trying to get back with her?
